CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

GENTLE FLOW AND MEDITATION

This class is a gentle, alignment based and slow-moving practice with a therapeutic and nurturing energy. This class is good for recovery/healing, preventative care, and for increasing flexibility for all ages. Each class will end with a guided meditation for deep relaxation.

KUNDALINI

Kundalini yoga uses kriyas, mantras, breath work and meditations to raise Kundalini energy from the base of our spine and to prepare our bodies, minds and spirits to handle the powerful experience that results from the practice. The asana (physical postures) are focused on the navel, spinal fluidity, and isolates particular areas of the body to enable and support kundalini energy to rise freely. Kundalini uses deep breath work, bandha control and repetitive movements to raise our consciousness and spiritual awakening. 

YOGA SCULPT

Yoga Sculpt utilizes a combination of yoga postures with traditional workout and plyometric moves to help build strength, tone and sculpt specific muscle groups. This class is great for beginners as well as more advanced yogis looking to build up their strength and tone. Be prepared for high intensity, sweat, pop music and lots of energy!

PRENATAL

This class will incorporate pranayama, asana and meditation for our mamas-to-be in order to allow each woman to connect with her body and spirit and growing baby during her prenatal journey.

CHAKRA ENERGY FLOW

A vinyasa flow class with a central focus on a specific chakra (one of our 7 energy points within the body) to heal, awaken, balance, nurture and stabilize our nervous system. The practice is deep and steady and focused and beautiful. Often times somatic and alternative healing energy movements are incorporated.

RHYTHM AND FLOW YOGA

This class is a fusion incorporating elements of Buti yoga, Dance, Vinyasa Flow and Sculpt. Kenny mixes and interweaves postures from various styles of yoga and dance while playing high vibrational pop music. Be prepared to move, sweat, flow and expand in all ways. Rhythm and Flow Yoga is open to all levels.

VINYASA FLOW

Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a mindful flow. We will build strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind.

CANDLELIGHT GENTLE WITH SOUNDBATH

Gentle Yoga amidst beautiful candlelight and then finishes with a meditative and restorative soundbath with crystal bowls.

RESTORATIVE

This practice centers around opening our body through passive stretching. During the long holds of restorative yoga, muscles are allowed to relax deeply. It's a unique feeling because props, rather than muscles, are used to support our body.

SUNDAY FUNDAY FLOW

A vinyasa flow class that has a relaxed and mellow atmosphere. Alternative music is used during this creative sequencing class. All levels are welcome.

VINYASA FLOW AND YOGA NIDRA

Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a mindful flow. The sequence dances between strength and flexibility and the distinct music along with the calming instruction enable students to deepen their concentration while cleansing the body and the mind. The final portion of the class includes a Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep. This meditative state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, (like the "going-to-sleep" stage), occurs through a guided meditation which will take the student on a healing journey and deeply restful state of being.

YIN YANG YOGA

A graceful journey from movement to stillness while balancing the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of the Self. This powerful and gentle practice is designed to strengthen your body, purify your mind and nourish your soul. The modern teachings of Vinyasa and Yin are infused with ancient Vedic and Taoist principles, to awaken and harmonize the divine masculine and feminine energies residing within you.

FASCIANATOR METHOD

This therapeutic class incorporates Rollers and specific techniques to target the fascia specifically throughout the body in order to facilitate deep powerful releases, flexibility and ultimately the ability to move and strengthen our bodies more profoundly. This class has a 10 person limit unless you bring your own roller.

YIN

A slow and meditative paced class where we hold therapeutic and healing postures for longer periods of time to enjoy more organic relaxation and release. The longer holds of each posture enable the body to open on its own without rushing and therefore the long term benefits are more sustainable and present in daily life. This class will increase your flexibility tremendously and also allow for deep relaxation.

DONATION KEIKI CREATIVE MOVEMENT

This ohana-style ballet, hip-hop, & creative movement class for children ages 2-7 (we ask that parents stay during class) celebrates the uniqueness of each child through empowering movement! Celebrate what make you brilliantly YOU in this confidence building movement class and discover what moves you! There are no fees for this class. Donations are welcome!

YOGA FOR ATHLETES

This challenging vinyasa flow class is a functional movement centered class. The sequences will weave in and out of strengthening and vigorous postures with balancing and acrobatic-like movements. There will be a focus on hips, shoulders and core with a constant fluid and steady pace. There will be no AC in this class so be prepared to sweat. You may want to bring an extra towel to this one!

KAIUT

Kaiut Yoga is primarily a floor class which focuses on working through chronic pain and injuries, general aches and stiffness, and work for the inflexible, hyper flexible and aging body. This class can benefit everyone.

ASHTANGA FLOW

This intermediate level class is fast paced and will explore the elements of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. Breath, mindfulness, and chanting will be incorporated, along with asana (yoga postures) in this moving meditation. Be prepared to sweat! Ashtanga is a traditional method from the late yoga master Sri K Pattabhi Jois. Prior yoga experience preferred.

SOUL FLOW

There is no AC used in this naturally heated vinyasa flow class, where we generate our own body heat and move through our sequences to a variety of different styles of modern, world, traditional, folk, electronic and downtempo music. Soul Flow means opening up our bodies and minds and spirits in a nurturing, loving, strong and compassionate way. The vinyasa flow weaves in and out of strengthening postures with long holds to more therapeutic releases and relaxing postures. We flow, we hold, we connect deeply with our breath and we practice self affirming loving affirmations and positive mantras to enhance and raise our vibrations, community, and expand our souls.

BAPTISTE YOGA

This is a type of power yoga, typically in a warm environment. It was developed by Baron Baptiste who says it is focused on asana (poses), meditation, and self-inquiry and is intended to be adaptable to any level of physical ability.

PILATES

Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance.
